Poppy, Cocker SpanielAce Animals operates in the North East of England, offering animal behaviour & training, pet sitting, dog walking and grooming services at affordable prices in today's competitive credit crunch market.

Ace Animals is run by Sarah Louise Liddell. From an early age, Sarah has shared her life with a variety of animals. Being brought up in a farming environment, she has owned and bred a variety of animals, ranging from the normal childhood pets such as dogs, cats, rodents, birds and fish right through to more exotic and unusual creatures such as the Bearded Dragon she currently shares her home with. Having spent many years working with animals and completing her Veterinary Nursing course and Higher National Diplomas, she decided to specialise in Animal Behaviour and Training. Sarah worked as Head Kennel and Cattery Assistant for some time in North Wales before relocating up to the North East of England. Sarah has also spent many years working in Veterinary Surgeries, at horse riding establishments and farms.

Lizzie, black LabSarah currently works on a part time basis for the RSPCA - caring for and working with animals who have been neglected or mistreated by their previous owners.

Sarah is fully qualified in Animal Behaviour and Training and Dog Grooming and Care. Both courses are at Higher National Diploma (Level 3) level and both are Veterinary Affiliated courses. Sarah has also completed Veterinary Nursing (Level 1) and gained a Certificate in this.

Sarah has worked with and trained dogs with a wide variety of problems. These have ranged from general disobedience and bad behaviour on the lead right through to cases involving aggression and fear.

Sarah has two dogs of her own, a Border Collie and a Cocker Spaniel. Having had first hand experience with training and behaviour problems that are faced by many pet dog owners, Sarah's aim is to educate and offer practical advice and assistance to help people enjoy their dogs.

Obedience Training in the dogs' own homeSarah will do an initial assessment of your pet before offering advice and assistance. Practical training demonstrations will be provided in order to coach you through the steps towards a well behaved and settled pet. Follow-up support is offered to all clients following completion of any exercises that are gone through during consultations.

Sarah offers one to one training and behavioural consultations in your own home as she feels this is the best place to truly assess your dog. This is not only more convenient for you and your dog but also enables Sarah to keep costs down to a minimum.

In addition to offering Animal Behaviour and Training, Sarah also offers pet sitting, dog walking, dog grooming, puppy socialisation and fish tank cleaning services. Sarah is also insured to look after horses and other large animals. Please see the Other Services page for further information on these additional services.

Sarah is a member of the Nationwide Associates of Registered Dog Sitters (Company Registration No:6399784) and her membership number is 00000280.

Sarah is fully insured for public liability up to £2 million and also has professional indemnity and veterinary insurance.
